HMD Global Unveils Nokia C110 and C300: Affordable Entry-Level Smartphones for the US Market

HMD Global has recently announced the release of two new entry-level smartphones tailored for the US market. The Nokia C110 features a 6.3-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. On the other hand, the Nokia C300 offers a slightly larger 6.52-inch LCD display with the same resolution, accompanied by a Snapdragon 662 SoC.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Nokia C110 sports a single 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash, while the C300 takes it a step further by incorporating a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. Additionally, the C300 boasts an 8MP front-facing shooter, while the C110 features a 5MP module. Both devices come with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, expandable via the microSD slot.

Running on Android 12, these smartphones are equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery (with 5W charging) for the C110 and a larger 4,000 mAh battery (with 10W charging) for the C300. Both devices feature polycarbonate frames and backs, carry IP52 ratings for water and dust resistance, and retain the classic headphone jack.

The Nokia C110 is available in gray, starting at $99, while the Nokia C300 comes in blue and is priced at $139. Consumers can expect these phones to hit the market later this month through carriers such as Consumer Cellular and Tracfone, as well as major retail partners including Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Amazon.
