Lenovo has officially confirmed the specs for its upcoming flagship tablet, the 2026 Legion Y900, ahead of its May 19 launch. Marketed as an “AI slate,” this device is designed to challenge the dominance of Android tablet heavyweights like Samsung and Xiaomi.
Interestingly, the Legion Y900 will come in two sizes: an 11.1-inch model and a 13-inch version, both featuring cutting-edge displays. Lenovo claims the smaller model offers the “world’s highest precision picture surface,” thanks to its 415 pixels-per-inch (PPI) density. But the impressive specs don’t stop there.
Lenovo Legion Y900 2026 Tablet Specs:
- Display Sizes: 11.1-inch or 13-inch, 3:2 aspect ratio
- Resolution: True 4K (3840×2560)
- Pixel Density: 415 PPI (11.1-inch) or 355 PPI (13-inch)

- Touch Sampling Rate: 360Hz (up to 2340Hz for instantaneous touch)
- Brightness: 1100 nits peak (typical)

- Additional Features:

- Reading mode with paper-like display effect
- Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection
Display: A True 4K Powerhouse
Both models feature true 4K resolution (not a marketing gimmick) with a 3:2 aspect ratio, ideal for productivity. The 11.1-inch model boasts a sharper 415 PPI, while the 13-inch version offers 355 PPI—both significantly higher than competitors like the iPad Pro (264 PPI), Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (239 PPI), and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra (275 PPI).
The 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, while the 360Hz touch sampling rate (spiking to 2340Hz for instantaneous touch) enhances responsiveness, especially for gaming.
Industry-First Certification
Lenovo claims the Y900 is the first tablet to earn TÜV Rheinland’s “True 4K High Visual Clarity” certification. It also includes hardware-level low blue light and flicker-free technology, making it easier on the eyes during extended use.
Built for Versatility
With 1100 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, and ambient color adaptation, the Y900 is designed to excel as a desktop replacement, media center, and gaming device. The Gorilla Glass 7i protection and DC dimming further enhance durability and usability.
What’s Missing?
Lenovo hasn’t revealed the processor powering the Y900 yet. However, based on the previous Y900 (released globally as the Lenovo Tab Extreme), it’s expected to pack a high-performance chipset. Unlike Lenovo’s budget-friendly tablets like the IdeaPad 11, the Legion Y900 is a premium device and likely won’t come cheap.
Launch Details
The price and memory configurations for the Legion Y900 will be announced on May 19, alongside other new Lenovo gadgets, including the Y70 phone, Y7000X laptop, and the next-gen Moto Razr foldable phone.
