Lenovo has introduced a new lineup of AMD-powered 2-in-1 laptops under the Yoga 7a 2-in-1 series series. These devices come in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, featuring 70 Wh batteries, optional OLED displays, Ryzen AI 7 445 APUs, and up to 32 GB of RAM.
However, This launch follows the release of the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition nearly two months ago. The Gen 11 series, available in the same 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, replaced the Gen 10 models (currently priced at $788 on Amazon) and introduced Intel’s Core Ultra 7 355 processor from the Panther Lake family.
Now, Lenovo has expanded its offerings with the AMD-based Yoga 7a 2-in-1 series. Like its Intel counterpart, the Yoga 7a is available in 14-inch and 16-inch variants. It offers IPS or OLED display options, LPDDR5X-8000 RAM, and 70 Wh batteries. Additionally, the 16-inch models include a dedicated number pad. However, both sizes feature compact up and down arrow keys, which may be a drawback for some users.

Pricing for the Yoga 7a 2-in-1 starts at £1,000 or €1,150 for the 16-inch model. This configuration includes a Ryzen AI 5 435 APU, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and an OLED display. In Canada and the US, the 16-inch version is available with a Ryzen AI 5 430, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and an IPS display, priced at CAD 1,569 and $1,129, respectively.
The 14-inch Yoga 7a 2-in-1 starts at CAD 1,799 or $1,229.99 in North America, featuring a Ryzen AI 5 430, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and a 1200p OLED display. Interestingly, a similar configuration with the Ryzen AI 5 435 is available in the Eurozone and the UK for €1,080 and £930, respectively. In Australia, only the 14-inch model is currently offered, starting at AUD 2,279.
