HP has refreshed its EliteBook 6 series with new G2 models, introducing the EliteBook 6 G2a and EliteBook 6 G2i. These laptops are available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, with optional lightweight versions for added portability.
The EliteBook 6 G2 now joins the EliteBook 8 G2 series, featuring updated AMD and Intel processors. Additionally, HP has introduced Chromebook Plus options powered by Raptor Lake-U processors. The Chromebook Plus variant, called the EliteBook 6 G2i Chromebook Plus, is only available in a 14-inch size and offers up to an Intel Core i7-1250U processor and 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM.
For the AMD and Intel models, customers can choose between 14-inch or 16-inch displays. HP has also developed ‘Thin Client’ variants for its Intel-based models, though these are not available for AMD configurations like the EliteBook 6 G2ah.
In total, HP has introduced 13 EliteBook G2 variants to replace the previous G1 series (currently priced at $1,199 on Amazon). Below is the full list of the new models, as mentioned in HP’s press release:

HP has not yet announced pricing for the new EliteBook 6 G2 models. However, the company has confirmed that the laptops will launch in June 2026. For additional context, HP also unveiled the EliteBook 6 G2q today, which is covered in a separate report.
