DJI has started teasing a mysterious new device on Chinese social media. Falling under the company’s Osmo series, DJI has confirmed when it will be launching its new device too.
DJI has confirmed the release of a flurry of new devices today. Initially, it revealed that it will be unveiling Lito 1 and Lito X1 drones on April 20. Shortly afterwards, it then teased the introduction of new microphones on April 28.
Today, DJI announced another April release. This time the company has limited the coverage of this other device just to its Chinese social media channels. But at some point the company usually makes its entire line of consumer grades devices available throughout the world. Nonetheless, it is yet to be known whether the device will be delivered on April 21 beyond China as DJI confirms in the video below.
At the moment, the company depicts an accessory that is getting off of what it seems to be a camera stabiliser. The identical video confirms that the launch will be based on the Osmo series of DJI as well. Recent leaks indicate that this device could be the Osmo Mobile 8 Pro, with DJI only releasing the Osmo Mobile 8 in November 2025 (curr. $126 on Amazon). Reportedly, the Osmo Mobile 8 Pro will feature better stabilisation than its non-Pro sibling, as well as an upgraded Multifunctional Module. Prices are not yet available.
