DJI has released a new teaser for a product launch on April 28, sparking rumors of a DJI Mic Mini 2 or DJI Mic 4. Following the upcoming releases of the Osmo Pocket 4 and DJI Lito drone, this new wireless microphone appears to feature a compact design and a variety of new colors – a first for the company
April is shaping up to be a blockbuster month for DJI, with the company teasing several new products. Among the highlights are the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, set to launch on April 16, and the DJI Lito drones, arriving on April 23.
Now, DJI has dropped another teaser, hinting at a surprising new wireless microphone. The teaser, titled “More Than Sound – April 28,” features the silhouette of a small square device resembling a DJI Mic transmitter.
A New Wireless Mic: DJI Mic Mini 2 or DJI Mic 4?
This teaser suggests we might see either a flagship DJI Mic 4 or a more budget-friendly DJI Mic Mini 2. Given that the DJI Mic 3 only launched in August 2025, it seems more likely that this is a refresh of the DJI Mic Mini, which debuted back in November 2024 and is due for an update.
A Splash of Color for DJI’s Wireless Mics
What’s particularly intriguing is the teaser’s use of vibrant colors, hinting at a more colorful lineup of wireless mics. This would align well with the DJI Mic Mini’s target audience of lifestyle users, as opposed to the professional-focused DJI Mic 3, which comes in a sleek black design. However, it’s also possible that the colors are part of new accessories or stickers to customize the transmitters.
Clues from the Osmo Pocket 4 Leak

Leaked marketing images of the Osmo Pocket 4 show a DJI Mic 3 included in the “Creator Combo,” further supporting the idea that the April 28 launch will focus on the DJI Mic Mini 2. Of course, DJI could still surprise us with an entirely new product.
Stay tuned for more updates as DJI continues its exciting lineup of product launches this month!
