Less than a year after releasing the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, a rumor has surfaced that Asus may unveil a new handheld. The device is expected to make an appearance at Computex 2026 which begins in early June.

It has been more than six months since Asus released the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. The same goes for the two handhelds which were released last year in 2023 and 2024 respectively, and, as mentioned, there are speculations that Asus might be launching a new handheld at Computex 2026.
The info is from the YouTuber Steam Dad, who mentioned it in a video on May 23. As per the video, if interested in getting a next generation of Asus’s handheld, then you should stay tuned for the computer expo, Computex 2026, that will take place from June 2 in Taipei.
Based on the video, the source seems to be certain that Asus will have a new handheld gaming PC to show off, and while he probably can’t reveal any info, he does say more details should be available in a couple of weeks.
So far, Asus hasn’t revealed anything new about a new Asus handheld, but there is the potential for something unexpected as it marks the 20th anniversary of its gaming brand ROG. But will this new handheld take the place of the ROG Xbox Ally (used on Amazon for $474.99) and the ROG Xbox Ally X is yet to be determined.
