The Redmi Band 4 has been launched in China, and this affordable fitness tracker has a 1.47-inch display and is rated for up to 21 days of battery life. It has a launch price of CNY 169, about $25.

Xiaomi has launched an affordable fitness tracker in China: the Redmi Band 4. It’s a basic smartwatch that delivers on the essentials. It has a 1.47-inch display with 60Hz refresh rate and 2.5D curved glass at the front.
This isn’t some flashy AMOLED screen such as the one on the Xiaomi Band 11 (current $67.99 on Amazon) either. Rather, it is a TFT display that is 172×320 pixels. The maximum brightness is 450 nits, meaning that it should be bright enough for most lighting conditions.
The metal mid-frame and comfortable forward strap are designed to ensure a safe and comfortable fit. Although Xiaomi doesn’t say, the smart band should support third-party straps so the user can change the strap depending on their style.
One of the key features of the Redmi Band 4 is its ability to run for up to 21 days. Being that there is no continuous health monitoring, of course, that battery life can only be achieved, and if that’s factored in, you’d be looking at about 8 days of run time, which isn’t bad.
There are 50 sports modes for fitness tracking, and sweat and water drops wouldn’t be a worry with the 5ATM water-resistant rating. Other than that, the smart band’s health monitoring capabilities are limited, with just continuous heart rate monitoring.
Music control, weather updates are among other features, and there are over 100 watch faces. The Redmi Band 4 debuted at a price of CNY 169 ($25) in China. This affordable fitness tracker is likely to re-enter the market outside of China very soon.
