The brand new Vivo T5 smartphone has launched in Mexico with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor. The budget-range smartphone features a 120 Hz LCD display, a 50 MP main camera, and a large 7,200 mAh battery with support for 44 W wired charging.

Vivo has launched Vivo T5 quietly in Mexico. Vivo has a respectable lineup of features in its latest budget-friendly smartphone. Speaking of price, the Vivo T5 4G is priced at MXN 5,799 (~$335) for the sole 8 GB + 256 GB variant. The smartphone is now on sale on Vivo’s official website.
Measuring 166.64 x 78.43 x 8.39 mm (6.56 x 3.08 x 0.33 inches) and weighing around 219 grams (0.48 lbs), the Vivo T5 is quite bulky due to its relatively large battery. More accurately, it features 7,200 mAh of battery with a 44W wired charging capability. Very protected against water and dust ingress, it complies with IP68 and IP69.
Vivo T5 features a 1570 x 720 resolution 6.75-inch LCD display. The display boasts 1,250 nits of brightness and 120 frames per second, the company says. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor is responsible for the power, while the latter has up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X memory and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with no storage expansion options.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera with 50 MP and 2 MP units. A 32MP snapshooting camera is located at the front for videos and selfies. It comes with a preloaded installation of Android 16-based OriginOS 6.OriginOS 6 is preinstalled on the device, based on Android 16. However, there’s no word on its software support from the brand. Additional features are stereo speaker output, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, infrared blaster and dynamic RAM of up to 8 GB.
