RedMagic has officially announced the launch month for its next gaming tablet after an initial delay. The upcoming device, named the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, is set to feature cutting-edge technology designed to outperform competitors.
Earlier this year, in April, a RedMagic executive hinted at a release timeframe for the tablet. However, delays have pushed the launch back. Now, RedMagic has confirmed that the tablet will debut in June, though the exact date remains undisclosed. A teaser shared on the company’s Weibo page highlights that the device will boast 10 advanced features.
Key features of the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, as reported by ITHome, include an OLED display with an ultra-high refresh rate, a high-performance chipset, PC-grade thermal management materials, and advanced heat dissipation technology. The tablet will also sport a sleek, flat, and transparent design, a revamped user interface, and a built-in PC games emulator.
While the tablet is confirmed for an international release, the global launch date has yet to be announced. With the China launch delayed, there’s speculation that the international release might also face a postponement.
When it hits the market, the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will compete with devices like the Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 5), also known as the Legion Tab Gen 5, which is currently priced at $849.99 on Lenovo’s U.S. website.
