The new year is approaching quickly, which usually means that the launch of the next Samsung flagships is just around the corner. However, an increasing number of reports now point to significant delays regarding the launch and availability of the Galaxy S26 series, which might not become widely available until after the Mobile World Congress.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch event already had a set date. In November, the industry insiders said that the Galaxy S26 will be released on February 25 in San Francisco. Nevertheless, later on another report out of South Korea indicated that there is still a possibility that a launch could occur in January 2026 despite all the hard work by the entire Samsung team.
More hints about the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked launch event have emerged shortly before the end of the year. These are less optimistic to Samsung enthusiasts, who will probably have to wait much longer before the successors of Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra (starting at $1,099 on Amazon) are released. Toward the end of last week, the Korean newspaper YNA reported on a Galaxy Unpacked event in February in the US as a continuation of its report on Samsung and its new Exynos 2600 chipset.
There was no particular date stated so the new Galaxy S26 lineup may not be in stores until March when assuming that November 25 was the actual launch date. With the customary pre-orders, the new Samsung telephones could be released following the Mobile World Congress, scheduled to be held between March 2 to 5, 2026. The famous leaker Ice Universe has also confirmed this today and predicts a February launch and March release, which hopefully is correct despite the grammatical mistake in his post.
