With a 200 megapixel main camera, three 50 MP cameras and a fast Dimensity 9500s ARM chip for the price of a premium mid-range smartphone, the brand new Oppo Reno16 Pro promises first-class value for money.

The Oppo Reno16 Pro was officially unveiled in China today. The design of the premium mid-range smartphone is a bit modernized; the body, which is waterproof IP69K, is 7.7 millimetres high and 205 grams in weight despite the 7,000 mAh battery.
The battery can be charged either via USB-C with up to 80 watts or wirelessly with 50 watts. The most important change is the processor, where Oppo is using Dimensity 9500s from MediaTek in the Reno16 Pro, which will help increase the performance of the device to more closely match that of the flagship. Oppo’s main camera is a 200 MP f/1.8, while the 50 MP f/2.0 ultra wide-angle camera is also accompanied by two more 50 MP cameras: telephoto camera with 3.3X optical zoom and selfie camera with 50 MP f/2.0.
The rest of the features are also impressive, with the Oppo Reno16 Pro sporting a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with frame rates of up to 120 Hz, a peak HDR brightness of 3,600 nits and a PWM frequency of 2,160Hz to prevent flickering. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the display. The left-hand side has a programmable action button. The smartphone comes with a Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual SIM.
