Oppo Bubble stands out as one of the most unique smartphone gadgets on the market. It features a round AMOLED touchscreen, a battery, and magnets, all packed into a lightweight 27-gram housing. This innovative device adds a selfie display to smartphones in a compact and stylish form.
While smartphones with a second display on the back are still uncommon, Oppo takes a different approach by offering the second display as an optional accessory. The Oppo Bubble is encased in a slim, 7-millimeter-thick body and weighs just 27.5 grams, making it portable and easy to use.
The display attaches magnetically to Qi2-compatible smartphones, including the Apple iPhone 17. However, its most practical feature shines when paired with a compatible Oppo smartphone. In this setup, users can utilize the Oppo Bubble with the camera app to take selfies using the main or ultra-wide-angle camera, offering higher-quality shots compared to traditional front-facing cameras.

Beyond selfies, Oppo Bubble can also display videos or photos, adding versatility to its functionality. Designed as a decorative accessory, it can be attached to a backpack or key ring using the included case. Oppo has not disclosed details about the display’s resolution, brightness, or the battery life of its 550 mAh battery. Currently, the gadget is officially compatible with select Oppo smartphone series, including Reno14, Reno15, Reno16, and the Oppo Find X8, X9, X9 Pro, and X9 Ultra. There is no app available for use with smartphones from other manufacturers.
