The OnePlus 15T launched in China earlier this year. It was anticipated to be launched overseas under the name OnePlus 15s. It’s not until now, however, that the device has been given an official announcement for global release, and a new leak suggests there is some uncertainty about the release dates.

The OnePlus 13T was announced in China in April this year as a compact flagship smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Later, the device is launched globally as well as in India as the OnePlus 13s.
The OnePlus OnePlus 13T is already being replaced by the OnePlus 15T in China. In March 2026, the new compact phone will be released in China, sell for CNY 4,899 (~$723). But no official update has been received so far about its global counterpart, the OnePlus 15s.
The 15T will have a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz for reference. Just like the standard OnePlus 15 (now $849 on Amazon), the 15T is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It is equipped with a 50MP dual camera at the back and a 7,500mAh battery.
Now, tipster Yogesh Brar on X has stated that the OnePlus 15s could be non-existent. The tipster also indicated that the next-generation OnePlus 16 isn’t finalized for India yet.
To put things into perspective, there are several reports claiming that OnePlus is reducing its footprint in several markets. The company continues to launch new products in India, with the upcoming low-priced OnePlus N6 with 8,000mAh battery being one of the newest. Whether OnePlus’ up and coming flagships will be released globally or stay limited to China is yet to be seen.
