Motorola’s mid-range smartphone is designed to distinguish itself mostly by its value for money, since Motorola is using a 7,000 mAh battery, a 108-megapixel main camera, and a thoroughly modern design on the colorful chassis.

Motorola is introducing a Moto G47 Power in addition to the Moto G47 ($193 on Amazon), and one obvious change in this case is the larger 7,000 mAh battery, up from 5,200 mAh. The battery has been charged through USB-C with a maximum power of 30 watts, and the Moto G47 Power can act as a power bank for others to charge at up to 6 watts.
Motorola advertises a battery life of 78 hours, or over three days, but does not specify the usage conditions under which this runtime is achieved. The thicker and heavier (8.89mm and 215 grams) bigger battery makes the smartphone slightly larger. The case has not yet been rated as fully waterproof (IP64), as is standard for the majority of other waterproofing ratings. With the exception of the battery, there are three aspects of the Moto G47 Power that are really interesting: a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a microSD slot and a 108-megapixel f/1.7 main camera, with only a 2 MP sensor and an 8 MP selfie camera.
Motorola cuts back a little on the rest of the specifications. Moto G47 Power sports the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor along with only 4 GB of RAM. While the 6.67-inch IPS panel offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, its resolution is only 1,604 x 720 pixels. The fingerprint sensor is on the phone’s side. The mid-range smartphone has GPS, two Nano-SIM slots and NFC.

Pricing and availability
The Motorola Moto G47 Power comes in only one configuration, 128 GB flash memory with 4 GB RAM, and in Pantone Capri (turquoise), Pantone Nautical Blue (blue) or Pantone Impenetrable (black) color options. The smartphone costs €339 in the EU and costs £299 in the UK.
