The upcoming Lenovo launch event is set to introduce a handful of new products, and a GaN power adapter will be one of them. As the brand has confirmed, it will be a compact 300W gaming laptop charger with a built-in wire.

Lenovo is gearing up to hold a big launch event in China, which is set for May 19, 2026. The company will be presenting a few new products at this event. It had already confirmed two Legion gaming tablets along with a Legion branded phone, and teased a number of other new and all but entirely unknown products. It’s now been announced that a GaN power adapter will also be available at the event.
The new Legion gaming laptop charger boasts a fast charger rating of 300W, making it compatible with almost all modern Legion gaming laptops. Here, it’s worth noting that the adapter isn’t the same as the recently launched Honor 360W adapter.
That Honor laptop charger will work with other laptops, and comes with cables for Lenovo Legion models. This upcoming Legion 300W charger will only work with the company’s laptops, as it has an integrated cable.
The design of the charger can be seen from the teaser image, the charger is compact and the adapter is equipped with a Type I plug, which is mostly used in China. Lenovo had previously introduced Legion chargers that had regular two-pin plugs, but these were not precisely released to the international market.
It’s also unlikely for this 300W Legion charger to go worldwide. However, these power adapters are usually available to import from AliExpress (C245W curr. $51.94).
