The Lenovo Lecoo Pro 16 Core Edition has been launched in China. It features one of Intel’s highest-performance CPUs in the Panther Lake family. It has a 120Hz display, as well as an OCuLink port. The launch price is CNY 9,999, about $1,499.
Lenovo has launched a performance-focused laptop in China, the Lecoo Pro 16 Core Edition. It’s powered by the Intel Core Ultra X9 378H, a top-end processor from the Panther Lake series.
The Intel Arc B390 is a solid iGPU that can handle a few of the latest games at 1080p with a bit of tuning. Lenovo says that the dual-fan cooling system enables an 80W performance mode, but that the battery life and noise can be improved by dialing the TDP down to as low as 30W.
Speaking of which, another big feature of this Lenovo laptop is its 90Wh battery, which, according to Lenovo, can provide more than 25 hours of battery life during office work. Thanks to the 140W fast charging support, it shouldn’t take long to recharge the battery either.
On the front, Lenovo has equipped the Lecoo Pro 16 Core Edition with a 16-inch IPS display that features a resolution of 2,560×1600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 500-nit peak brightness rating. According to the company, this panel has 100% sRGB coverage and the anti-glare coating should provide for an enjoyable viewing experience under various lighting conditions.
Besides this, it features the correct eGPU support with OCuLink, and on top of that, the laptop has a fairly good port layout with a single USB4 port (Lenovo ThinkPad USB4 Dock 5000 curr. $154.99 on Amazon). Other key features include the complete keyboard, 3.86 lbs build and the overall stylish design.
Only one laptop configuration is available, and it features 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of SSD. It has a retail price of CNY 9,999, about $1,499. Lenovo may be releasing the Lecoo Pro 16 Core Edition as a part of its IdeaPad family in the global market.
