The recently unveiled Apple iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max include a new function called Always On Display that makes sure the phone uses less battery life.
Even when the phone is not in use, the Always-On display keeps the screen on and in a low-power mode. Apple continues to display the Lock Screen wallpaper in this mode, along with the time, date, and unread notifications, in contrast to similar features on rival devices.
The feature is enabled by default, although some people could find it unpleasant because they think it’s a little too bright. There is a way to turn off this new feature if you’re one of the people that doesn’t like it.
We’ll walk you through each step of disabling the Always-On function on your Apple iPhone 14 Pro series cellphones in this step-by-step tutorial.
Step 1: Open the Settings application on your smartphone.
Step 2: When the app opens, tap on the “Display & Brightness” option.
Step 3: In the Devices & Brightness settings, switch the toggle Off for the “Always On” option.
That’s all there is to it. Following the aforementioned instructions will disable the Always On display on your Apple iPhone 14 Pro smartphone. Apple does not currently provide any customization choices for the Always-On display.
