Honor has confirmed the new Honor 700 series for China. Ahead of the launch, a new leak has outlined the chipset choices for the Honor 700 and Honor 700 Pro.
Honor has recently announced the Honor 700 series for the Chinese market. But, the company has not yet announced specifications or a definite date of launch. For context, the Honor 600 series was released in China in May 2026. Now, Digital Chat Station, the tipster, has identified the chips that might be used to drive the next generation family.
According to the tipster, the standard Honor 700 will use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Honor 700 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. In comparison, the Honor 600 Super Edition and Honor 600 Pro available in China are powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite, respectively.
The Honor 700 Pro was previously leaked as boasting a 6.57-inch display with a resolution of “1.5K”, a 1.72-inch rear screen and a 200MP camera. Digital Chat Station has since indicated that the regular version of the Honor 700 would also have a rear display and periscope telephotography camera.
Notably, both models are tipped to support an external 200mm teleconverter. Please be aware that there were different models of the Honor 600 in the Chinese market and the global market. Whether Honor will follow suit with changes to the Honor 700 series internationally is unknown.
