Pokémon‑branded Anker Soundcore C50i clip‑on earphones arrive in Pikachu and Eevee editions, IP55‑rated open‑ear designs with up to 28 hours of total playback. They support the standard SBC and AAC Bluetooth audio codecs for compatibility, and the Hi-Res Audio LDAC codec (on Android) for high-resolution music playback.
Anker Japan has introduced two Pokémon-themed Soundcore C50i clip-on earphones: a Pikachu model (D1101NK1) and an Eevee model (D1101NR1). These earphones will be available for purchase in July 2026 through Anker Japan at a price of 13,990 yen (~$89). The official launch announcement will be shared on Anker Japan’s account on X.
Each earphone weighs just 5.5 g (0.19 oz.) and comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. They offer up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge, with the compact charging case (weighing 44.5 g or 1.57 oz.) extending the total runtime to 28 hours. Charging the earbuds takes 1.2 hours, while the case requires 3.2 hours to fully recharge. The case is designed for portability, measuring only 6.2 x 3.1 x 4.1 cm (2.44 x 1.22 x 1.61 in.).
The open-ear design ensures users can hear nearby voices and important sounds, avoiding the discomfort of deep ear canal insertion. This design also minimizes wax buildup, reducing the need for frequent cleaning. Additionally, AI-powered noise reduction enhances call quality by ensuring clear voice transmission through the dual microphones.
While open-ear designs often leak sound, the Soundcore C50i earbuds are engineered to fit snugly next to the ears, cutting noise leakage by 33.93% compared to the previous model, according to Anker. The 12 mm dynamic drivers deliver enhanced bass and richer sound quality.
The C50i supports standard SBC and AAC Bluetooth audio codecs for seamless connectivity with Android and Apple devices. For Android users, the earphones also support Hi-Res Audio LDAC, enabling high-resolution music streaming at up to 990 kbps with 32-bit, 96 kHz quality.
For those who prefer open-ear earphones but aren’t fans of Pokémon, the regular Soundcore C50i is available on Amazon in purple, black, or white.
