Amazon has released the company’s first 2K video doorbell, the Amazon Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+. Oh, and the battery version is available, too — and that, of course, is a little bit more expensive than the wired version. The Blink Doorbell has 1920 x 1920p resolution and a 140° field of view. The gadget comes with person detection and two-way audio with noise cancellation.

Amazon’s smart home brand best known for its affordability in the smart home camera domain, Blink, has launched its very first 2K video doorbell. Interestingly, the brand does provide both wired and battery for consumers at a competitive price. More to the point, the first one costs $49.99 and the second one costs $69.99. They are both available directly from Amazon in white or black color.
Blink has a good lineup of capabilities in its 2K video doorbell. The video doorbell provides users with a resolution of 1920 x 1920p and the company states that the gadget is adequate enough to catch each frame with rich detail and enhanced color. The person detection and 140-degree 360-degree field of view from head to toe are included with the smart home surveillance device.
The Blink Amazon storefront does, however, list all the specs of the new smart home video doorbell. It is two-way audio with noise-canceling function, enabling users to engage in natural conversation with visitors. There’s also night vision, so you can get great footage in low light conditions. Speaking of the non-wired version, it’s powered by three AA lithium batteries.
The Alexa compatibility of both models, and Blink’s claims that the gadget will easily withstand the rain, dust and harsh weather with its IP65 water-resistant rating, make the device a weather-proof option. Additional features include live viewing through the Blink companion app, simple installation, motion alerts, a door chime and cloud video storage (available at an additional cost).
