Today, the 26th of September, which is exactly a year after the 13T series launch, Xiaomi is set to release the Xiaomi 14T series. However, in the last 48 hours the companies stated a lot of impatience – first, Amazon Italy shares the information about pre-order bonuses, and now, Xiaomi Romania, shares promo videos. Xiaomi’s global account still only has a couple of teaser videos, and those don’t reveal much. The one below is not very long but it does give a glimpse of the new phones.
As you can see from the first one, Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are cameras co-developed with Leica and the lenses are Summilux. In the video they demonstrate the 14T Pro taking a picture at 60mm, however they did not clarify if that was in its native form or a zoom setting.
On to the second clip, and this one is clearly detailing video, more specifically “Movie mode”. That is not the new thing, the Xiaomi 14 phones don’t have the T version but they have it. It defaults to a 2.29:It even has an aspect ratio of 1 and provides a cinematic bokeh together with the option to choose between two focus points with autofocus switching (just pay attention to the rack focusing from one person to another).
The last video is not dedicated to Xiaomi 14T phones, but to all the new products arriving tomorrow. This includes the phone’s new Xiaomi Buds 5, a new watch and much much more.
