The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro have been spotted on their way to being released globally. Equipped with high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, the Pad 8 series should grace India in some form too.
It is already known that Xiaomi is planning to launch the Redmi Note 15 series internationally after launching the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus last month in China. It appears that now Xiaomi is preparing to launch both of its new high-end Android tablets not only in its domestic country but also beyond.

China announced the Pad 8 andPad 8 Pro yesterday, which are direct successors to the Pad 7 andPad 7 Pro (currently sold worldwide at $598 on Amazon), which Xiaomi launched around six months ago. They have now appeared on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) at Singapore under model numbers 25097RP43G and 25091RP04G. Similarly the latter, too, has been on the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards, but under the model number 25097RP43I.
Though neither of the regulatory authorities discloses the retail names of these tablets, pre-launch leaks have confirmed that the model number of the Pad 8 is 25097RP43. In the meantime, 25091RP04 corresponds to the Pad 8 Pro, C, G or I suffixes are added to show Chinese, global or Indian variants, respectively.

At least, so far, Xiaomi remains silent about any of their Pad 8 series as available worldwide. With the example of Pad 7 series, it will take Xiaomi until MWC 2026 in March 2026 to release fans. Meanwhile, importers are already selling the Pad 8 Pro all around the world, details of which we have already discussed separately.
