Xiaomi has launched its Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W in the UK. Already on sale in Japan and parts of Europe, the slim pack is barely thicker than an iPhone Air at 6 mm. It delivers up to 15W of wireless charging and fits perfectly on different phones, including the iPhone 17 series.

The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is currently on sale in the UK. This is a slim battery pack that was initially released in Japan and later deployed in some European regions. It is now available to the buyers in the UK directly through the Xiaomi site.
As it is implied by the name, the Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank is aimed at the people who want to purchase a power bank that is slim and unobtrusive. It puts in a 5000 mAh silicon-carbon battery in a body that is only 6 mm thick, and this makes it only marginally thicker than an iPhone Air. It also weighs 98 g, so it can be carried around without any excessive weight. The highest charging rate is 15W wirelessly and 22.5W on the USB-C port. It is unfortunate that the wireless charging on iPhones is constrained to 7.5W, which is relatively slow compared to Qi2 power banks.
According to Xiaomi, the power bank is compatible with recent Xiaomi, iPhone, Samsung, and Google flagship phones. It fits perfectly on the back of the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro, and OnePlus 15 as shown in the photos above. It even comes in a similar shade of silver to the iPhone 17 Pro, along with a sleek anodized aluminum unibody. In the UK, buyers can purchase the Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W directly from the Xiaomi website for £49.99. As we previously reported, it is also available to import via AliExpress and Alibaba.
