Xiaomi is about to start a crowdfunding campaign in China for a new accessory: the 5000 Ultra-Thin Power Bank with Built-in Cable 22.5W. This device is relatively compact and lightweight, with support for various fast charging protocols via the USB-C port. Plus, the accompanying cable has two uses.

The Xiaomi 5000 Ultra-Thin Power Bank with Built-in Cable 22.5W will shortly be crowdfunded in China. It is also reported that this new portable accessory is much more compact to transport.
The 5000 Ultra-Thin Power Bank has a USB-C port, and it can provide up to 22.5W power. The product description shows that this should enable you to charge a Xiaomi 15 to 30 percent in 30 minutes, or an iPhone 16 Pro 45 percent in the same period. It has support to several fast charging standards, such as PD 3.0 (PPS) and QC3+. In addition, this model has a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is stored in a cap on each end and can convert into a lanyard when it is not in a state of use.
The 5,000 mAh battery in the Ultra-Thin Power Bank is charged through a 20W USB-C port, and has an 80 percent or greater capacity after 300 recharges. There are some safety functions, such as temperature checks, and protection against such issues as short circuits and overvoltage. The power bank is reported to weigh 110 g (~3.9 oz), and it is 11.8 mm (~0.5 inches) thick with a metal frame. Customers will have a choice of two color ways which will be Night Shadow Gray and Ice Porcelain White.

Xiaomi 5000 Ultra-Thin Power Bank with Built-in Cable 22.5W is going to be crowdfunded in China on August 24 th. The project backers will be invited to make a pledge of CNY 139 (~$19) to avail the product, in which it will cost them CNY 149 (~$21) in future. It is not clear yet whether this accessory will be launched in other markets such as Europe where the company already markets similar products such as the Ultra Slim Power Bank 5000mAh (curr. 29.99 at Amazon Germany).
