Xiaomi has updated its Redmi Monitor G27U with a new version. Refreshed for 2026, the Redmi Monitor G27U 2026 outputs at 4K and 160 Hz. However, the monitor can call on LG Display’s Dual Mode technology to provide a 320 Hz refresh rate when needed.
Xiaomi has updated its gaming monitor line-up again with a new 27-inch and 4K model. In short, the company launched several models last week. Now, it has refreshed the Redmi Monitor G27U with a 2026 edition. Incidentally, the first Redmi Monitor G27U launched less than a year ago.
Leaving that aside, the Monitor G27U 2026 still has the Dual Mode technology of the previous year. The new Xiaomi monitor has a default resolution of 4K and 160 Hz on its 27-inch IPS panel. Alternatively, the monitor can reduce its resolution to 1080p, granting a 320 Hz refresh rate option. As of today, these combinations of resolution and refresh rate are already found within monitors, such as the ROG Strix XG27UCG (currently priced at 414 on Amazon).
Xiaomi not yet verified all the variations among its 2025 and 2026 versions. By the looks of things, Xiaomi has included a newer stand, as well as an updated rear design. This year model must keep its predecessor DisplayPort 2.1 (54 Gbps) and HDMI 2.1 ports, however. Xiaomi has priced the Redmi Monitor G27U 2026 at CNY 1,499 (~$220) for a CNY 100 (~$15) saving on the 2025 edition.
