WhatsApp Voice Message Transcription is a new feature, introduced to its Android beta app, version 2.24.15.5 that allows users to transcribe voice messages directly within the app. This feature makes it easy for users to convert messages into text conveniently.
Initially launched for iOS users back in May the voice message transcription feature is now also available to Android users. It currently supports languages such as English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil) Russian and Hindi with plans to include more languages.
Users who choose to use this feature will be required to download an additional data package.
