TCL NxtPaper 14 and Tab 11 Gen 2 Now Available

TCL created a buzz at IFA by unveiling TCL NxtPaper 14 and Tab 11 Gen 2 smartphones equipped with NxtPaper screens: but they didn’t halt there. TCL broadened their range of tablets, with the NxtPaper 14 tablet boasting a 14. inch screen and a robust battery life. Additionally they kicked off sales of the Tab 11 Gen 2 a LCD tablet that was initially showcased at MWC.

The NxtPaper 14 is a standout with its 14.3-inch NxtPaper 3.0 display, designed to mimic the look of e-ink while filtering out up to 61% of harmful blue light without sacrificing sharpness or color. The display features a 2400 x 1600 pixel resolution, up to 400 nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s also compatible with the TCL T-Pen stylus, making it a versatile tool for both work and creativity.

A physical toggle on the device lets you switch between Regular, Color Paper, and Ink Paper modes on the fly. Powering the NxtPaper 14 is a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging, so you can stay productive for longer.

Under the hood, you’ll find a Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It’s a Wi-Fi-only device, meaning there’s no support for SIM or microSD cards. For photography, there’s an 8MP camera on the back, while the front hosts 13MP and 5MP cameras, perfect for video calls and Face Unlock, as the tablet doesn’t include a fingerprint scanner.

Running on Android 14, the TCL NxtPaper 14 is priced at €399 and will be available in Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

TCLs Tab 11 Gen 2

TCLs Tab 11 Gen 2 keeps up with their reputation, for providing budget tablets without any fancy extras.It comes with an 11 inch NxtVision LCD screen that boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The Tab 11 Gen 2 comes with an upgraded Helio G80 processor and 6GB of RAM compared to the Tab 10 that used the older Helio P22 chip and had only 4GB of RAM last year. Adding to that improvement is the inclusion of a microSD slot in the model which enables users to expand the storage from its initial 256GB by up, to a whopping 1TB.

The second generation Tab 11 features an 8MP camera and a 5MP front camera for taking photos and making video calls easily.The tablet is equipped with an 8Ah battery that charges at 18 watts and runs on Android version 14 right, out of the box.

The second generation of the TCL Tab 11 comes in a Gray color choice. Will be priced at €199 in Europe as well, as Latin America and Asia Pacific regions.
