Xiaomi has announced plans to refresh one of its popular smartphone series with a new model. The Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition is set to launch before the end of the month and will feature a premium design.
The Redmi Note 15 series has been on the market for some time. It debuted in China last August and expanded globally four months later. During the global launch, Xiaomi also introduced 4G-specific models, including the Redmi Note 15 4G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G.
Now, Xiaomi has teased the arrival of a new addition to the lineup. Based on early details, the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition appears to be a visual upgrade of the existing Redmi Note 15 5G, which is currently priced at $275 on Amazon. Interestingly, the design closely resembles the New Year Cherry Red Edition, a variant already available in China.
For now, Xiaomi suggests that the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. From the teaser website, it seems the new model might be called Crimson Reserve. The official announcement is scheduled for April 2, so stay tuned for more details.
