The first high-resolution images of the next-generation flip flagship by Samsung can be viewed. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 has a large secondary screen with thin bezels and seemingly a better hinge that folds the smartphone to a thinner size.
High-resolution renders have already been leaked by the extremely reliable leaker, @OnLeaks, on MyMobiles claiming to depict the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8. The foldable flagship smartphone first appears to be nearly a confusingly similar design to the Galaxy Z Flip7 ($1,019 on Amazon), though there is one significant difference in the dimensions.

When not folded, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is 166.8 x 75.4 x 6.6 millimeters; when folded, it is 85.4 x 75.4 x 13.2 millimeters. This implies that the foldable phone is virtually identical in terms of thickness when not folded, but a half millimeter thinner when folded – a definite sign that Samsung has worked on the design of the hinge to make the gap between the two parts of the screen smaller.
Samsung has a 4.1 inch secondary display and 6.9 inch main display as usual. The rear two cameras and the LED flash are placed in three punch holes in the top left corner of the secondary display, so the main and ultra-wide-angle cameras can also be used to take selfies or group selfies. The flat frame is constructed of metal.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 will be officially released in July. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will be a rather modest upgrade, as Samsung is expected to install a 4,300 mAh battery, a 50 megapixel main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP selfie camera as before. At least the smartphone needs an upgrade to a more recent processor, which will likely be Samsung Exynos 2600.
