The Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G will be officially unveiled in a few days time. Samsung is already showcasing the mid-range smartphone with a leather texture back panel ahead of time, and further confirms that the device has a larger battery than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G is going to be released on February 9, 2026. The mid-range smartphone is already on display on a teaser site by Samsung which also verifies certain specifications. Its design is rather peculiar in Samsung, as in contrast with Galaxy A17 (starting at $179 on Amazon), Galaxy F70e 5G features a leather-textured backside.
The cell phone will have a Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. Like usual with Samsung, the Galaxy F70e 5G features a flat frame with a bulge on the right, the so-called Key Island where the power button and the volume buttons are located. The broad chin underneath the screen and the notch however make the design appear to be that of an entry-level smartphone.

Even the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra is claimed to have a smaller battery capacity of 5,000mAh, Samsung continues to use a 6,000mAh battery. The camera module on the back is pill shaped and includes a 50MP main camera as well as a 2MP depth sensor that will be aimed at creating a more convincing bokeh effect in portrait mode. In the meantime, the selfie camera is founded on an 8MP sensor.
Its refresh rate is 120Hz, although the peak brightness is rather modest, at 800 nits, indicating that the Android phone has an IPS panel rather than OLED. Samsung is yet to establish what is in the screen resolution or the processor. Galaxy F70e 5G will be launched first in India, and it is yet to be examined whether other markets and regions will also have a launch.
