Realme has officially launched the 5G version of the P4 Lite in India. The smartphone is available in two color options: mosaic green and mosaic blue. It features a 144 Hz display, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a massive 7,000 mAh battery.
Realme continues to expand its budget-friendly P4 lineup, with the P4 Lite 5G being the latest addition. This device offers a solid set of features for its price point. Interestingly, it’s a rebranded version of the recently launched Realme C83, meaning both models share nearly identical specifications. However, Realme has slightly modified the rear design of the P4 Lite 5G, giving it a unique mosaic finish.
Performance and Software
The P4 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storagell. It also supports storage expansion via a microSD card. On the software front, the device runs Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16. Realme has committed to providing two major OS updates (up to Android 18) and three years of security patches. For comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy M17e offers six years of software support, despite being slightly cheaper than the P4 Lite 5G.
Display and Battery
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. Its standout feature is the 7,000 mAh battery, which supports 15 W wired charging. Additionally, the device includes bypass and reverse OTG charging capabilities.
Camera and Other Features
On the back, the P4 Lite 5G has a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 13 MP primary sensor and an unspecified secondary sensor. For selfies, it offers a 5 MP front camera. Other notable features include an airflow vapor chamber with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 5 support.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme P4 Lite 5G is available in mosaic blue and mosaic green. The base model (4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage) is priced at INR 12,999 ($140), while the higher variant (6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage) costs INR 15,999 ($171). Sales begin on March 25 through Realme’s official website and authorized retailers.
