Ahead of the official announcement of the March PlayStation Plus free games, a well-known leaker has revealed the lineup’s headliner — a 2025 sports game published by 2K.
One of the most popular leakers also disclosed the headlining title prematurely despite the fact that Sony is supposed to officially release the March PlayStation+ free-to-play games list on February 25.
The source is the information of billbil-kun, who can be trusted in leaking the information. According to him, PGA Tour 2K 25 will be the most successful title.
The most recent golf game by HB Studios is PGA Tour 2K25, which released on PlayStation 5 in February 2025. IGN has highly applauded its fluid effects and finer details, both of the environment scenery and the actual movements of the player, with the character models appearing far more like real-life versions. Although the review commended the improvement in performance between the two generations, the commentary was slated as being weak.
The game has a skill tree which allows a player to tailor development of their golfer according to their desired strengths and it also has PvP as well as co-op online and offline.
Upon confirmation, PGA 2K25 and the rest of the March will be included in the PlayStation 2021 PlayStation+ along the Essential, Extra, and Premium levels between March 3 and April 7.
