Reduce Your Display Brightness and Sleep Time:

This is a common strategy people use to save their battery life. But it is actually better to make it an habit to reduce your display brightness instead of just doing that once a while, since this does not just help save your battery life but also help to protect your eyes.

It is also to reduce the time your phone takes before it goes to sleep, I mean there is no need for your phone to still be on when you’re not using it and have placed it down.

How to reduce display brightness: Swipe down from the top your phone display, you will see a slider with a picture of a sun, then drag it to your left to reduce your phone display brightness.

How to reduce sleep time: Go to Settings > Display and change “Screen Timeout” to anything below one minute.

Turn Off Keyboard Sounds and Haptics:

So to enjoy your battery well it is important to remember to turn off these features.

How to: Go to Settings > Language and Input, then look for your Keyboard settings and disable “Sound on Keypress” and “Haptic feedback on Keypress.”

Reduce Your Notifications:

Notifications can be one of your biggest battery drainers when they are not manage, because they come in bulk making sounds all day and also the apps are refreshing in the background in search of new notifications to send. And of course this needs battery power in order to work.

How to: Go to Settings > Notifications > App Notifications then you will see a list of apps on your phone, then disable apps notification that are not very important.

Turn off “Hey Google” Detection:

This doesn’t seem like something that actually drains the battery of your phone, but in the real sense actually when the “Hey Google” detection is on, it keeps your phone active waiting to hear you say “Hey Google” so as to perform it tasks.
