OneXPlayer quietly launches Panther Lake-powered Asus ROG Flow Z13 rival

The OneXPlayer Super V is now available for purchase. This new Intel Panther Lake gaming handheld rivals the AMD Strix Halo ROG Flow Z13 with an OLED display, a mini SSD slot, and a more affordable launch price.

OneXPlayer unveiled the Super V at CES 2026, positioning it as a direct competitor to Asus’s Strix Halo ROG Flow Z13. Unlike the Asus model, the Super V is powered by Intel’s Panther Lake processor. Previously, OneXPlayer released an AMD version, and many of its features have been carried over to this new Intel-based model.

The Super V retains the same 14-inch AMOLED display as its predecessor, offering a 120 Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels, and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support. It’s also compatible with 4096-level pressure-sensitive stylus pens. In contrast, the Strix Halo ROG Flow Z13 features an LCD panel with a faster 180 Hz refresh rate.

The port selection on the Super V mirrors that of the OneXPlayer Super X, including:

  • 2x USB4
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A
  • 1x mini SSD PCIe 4.0 slot
  • 1x HDMI 2.1
  • 1x MicroSD 4.0 slot
  • 1x 3.5 mm audio jack

Powering the device is an 85.58 Wh battery, identical to the Super X. To ensure stable performance during demanding tasks, OneXPlayer has equipped the Super V with a dual-fan cooling system.

Under the hood, the Super V features Intel’s Core Ultra 7 358H processor, a 16-core Panther Lake CPU designed for high performance. It’s paired with the Arc B390 integrated GPU, which delivers gaming performance comparable to Nvidia’s RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. However, this is where the Super V falls short compared to the 2025 ROG Flow Z13.

The Asus gaming tablet is equipped with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and the Radeon 8060S integrated GPU, which rivals the RTX 4070 Laptop GPU in performance. Despite this, the Super V’s launch price makes it an appealing option.

The Super V comes with 48 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, priced at $1,899 on OneXPlayer’s official store. In comparison, Asus offers the ROG Flow Z13 with 32 GB of RAM for $2,299.99 (currently discounted to $2,069.99 on Amazon).
