OnePlus has announced the date of the release of a new range of magnetic accessories to smartphones. The new accessories are modeled after the OnePlus 15T and have two coolers and a charging puck with a potential of 50 W of wireless charging.
OnePlus officially announced the release date of the OnePlus 15T earlier today. In short, the new flagship is supposed to be ordered in China as early as March 24. Though the global launch information is still not known yet, the OnePlus 13T was also sold in the international market under the brand name OnePlus 13s.
At this point, OnePlus has affirmed that there will be various other new accessories alongside the Oneplus 15t. The accessories are pictured above and below, with each being designed to exploit the inbuilt wireless charging magnets of the OnePlus 15T. Therefore, the accessories will not be compatible directly with the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899 on Amazon), which does not have Qi2 magnets.
It seems that OnePlus is only intending to announce the magnetic accessories which it has already announced. In this way, the Magnetic Ice Card Slim Cooler, 40W Super Freezing point Magnetic Cooler, and the 50W Magnetic Turbo 2 Wireless Charger must all be launched together. Coincidentally, the latter is already being offered under Oppo branding. We, therefore, believe that the competition will sell at approximately CNY 349 (~$50) at OnePlus. Launch incentives can lower the price of the accessory to CNY 319 (~$46) though.
