The next-generation OnePlus flagship, likely named the OnePlus 16, has surfaced in a new leak, hinting at even thinner bezels compared to the OnePlus 15.

The OnePlus 15, which launched globally in November 2025, featured a 6.78-inch BOE X3 display with a standout 165Hz refresh rate—an upgrade from the 120Hz on the OnePlus 13.
A fresh leak from tipster Old Chen Air, shared on the Chinese platform Weibo, highlights a key feature of the OnePlus 16’s display. According to the leak, the device may sport bezels thinner than 1mm, a noticeable improvement over the OnePlus 15’s 1.15mm bezels.
While the leak doesn’t provide further display details, earlier reports suggest the OnePlus 16 could support a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.
Other rumored specs include a massive 9,000mAh battery and Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. Unlike the iQoo 15 Ultra, the OnePlus 16 is expected to skip features like shoulder buttons and a built-in cooling fan.
For cameras, the OnePlus 16 is rumored to feature a triple-lens setup: a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The phone is likely to launch in Q4 2026, following the same timeline as the OnePlus 15 (currently priced at $899 on Amazon). Before that, OnePlus is expected to release a compact flagship, the OnePlus 15s.
