Through reports and rumors that have been circulating on the internet, Nvidia seems to be planning to reintroduce the RTX 3060 gaming graphic card. The RTX 3060 will have to be priced quite appealingly in comparison with the RTX 5060 to make the point of its existence.

With the world witnessing a scarcity of the product, Nvidia seems to have a gimmick to supply gamers who have been starving over the lack of more GPUs in the market. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, which is currently 5 years old, may be making a shock reappearance as soon as March in the year 2026.
GeForce RTX 3060 came in 8 or 12 GB GDDR6 VRAM options, and it is unclear at the time of writing which version will be introduced into the market. It is worth mentioning that GeForce RTX 5060 (now priced at 339.99 on Amazon) has only 8 GB of VRAM. As to why a more contemporary GPU, such as the RTX 4060 was not selected is also anyone to guess. But due to a new report, we have learned that the RTX 3060 will be produced with the Samsung 8 nm node, as earlier.
The RTX 3060 performance-wise should be capable of handling around 70% of the RTX 5060 performance, which would make it a good low-end desktop graphics card, perhaps with a competitive price tag. Nevertheless, the RTX 5060 also includes many other features, like multi-frame generation, and in DLSS 4.5, the native acceleration of FP8, which is much more competent than the raw numbers would suggest. Naturally, as with the majority of other GPUs releases in the recent past, the final pricing of the market will be reduced to supply and demand numbers.
They should always be taken with a grain of salt in case of unconfirmed reports and rumors. It is possible that the GeForce RTX 3060 gaming GPU will actually re-introduce itself later this month, and in that case, we will be able to know about it soon enough.
