The new Red Magic Titan 16 Pro laptop from Nubia’s sub-brand is a significant addition to their lineup, following the launch of the Red Magic 9S Pro and 9S Pro+ smartphones. This 16-inch laptop boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio, a swift 3 ms response time, and a 240 Hz refresh rate, all packed into a 2560×1600 resolution screen. It ensures accurate and vibrant colors with a peak brightness of 500 nits, full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and support for G-Sync and DC dimming.
The Titan 16 Pro is designed with an Intel Core i9 CPU and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX4060 or RTX4070 graphics to deliver optimal performance. 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory from Samsung is the starting option, and it can be expanded to an incredible 96GB. A Samsung PM9A1 1TB SSD with read rates of 7,000 MB/s and an extra PCIe 4.0 M.2 socket for future expansion provide for outstanding storage as well.
The Magic Cooling system uses two huge fans operating at 3,850 RPM to effectively chill the air at 13.8 CFM. Stereo twin speakers with DTS-X Ultra and an FHD IR camera that supports Windows Hello are among the audio and camera features. Support for 100W PD allows for fast charging.
With one Thunderbolt 4 port, one HDMI 2.1 port, one USB-C 3.2 port, one USB-A 3.2 port, an Ethernet connector, an audio jack, and an SD card slot, there are plenty of connectivity possibilities. At 2.3 kg, the laptop is relatively light for a high-end computer.
The Red Magic Titan 16 Pro is available in two colorways: Dark Knight and Glacier Silver. The Dark Knight version launches on July 9, starting at $1,444 with the RTX4060, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The Glacier Silver version with the same specs will be priced at $1,554. For the more powerful RTX4070 and 32GB of RAM, the Glacier Silver variant will cost $1,829. This laptop will hit international markets in the fourth quarter of this year.
