Xiaomi has listed the new TV Box S (3rd Gen) on its global website, suggesting that this streaming device, the Xiaomi TV Box S, could soon be available in many markets. It follows the TV Box S (2nd Gen) from 2023, with a more powerful processor. Other features include Google TV with Google Assistant voice commands and support for Dolby Vision.
The TV Box S (3rd Gen) functions as a 4K streaming device with a 4K 60FPS video decoder and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Similar to its earlier version, the latest model features a 64-bit processor with a quad-core A55 CPU that delivers 25% faster CPU performance and 130% faster GPU performance according to Xiaomi.
