Lenovo has launched a 14-inch ThinkPad in the world market. The new ThinkPad is also a 2-in-1 model, which has an option of Intel Panther Lake processors with a maximum RAM of 32 GB upon its launch. Lenovo also sells the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition with optional 120 Hz VRR display.

Lenovo has eventually launched the current ThinkPad X1, following the presentation of the 2-in-1 in January at CES 2026. Instead of the Lunar Lake-based Gen 10 model (now available on Amazon at $1,897), the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition has a range of differences with older devices, not only in faster processors.
As an example, Lenovo gives the standard battery in every SKU is 58 wh and three Thunderbolt 4 ports in a 14-inch case with dimensions of 313.5 x 219.3 x 9.4~16.4 mm. Lenovo listed Core Ultra X7 processors when the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 was introduced, but it has a Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage and a 1200p IPS display with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

Instead, the laptop can be fitted with a Core Ultra 7 355 processor at an extra cost of £220/EUR250 or a 2.8K OLED (120 Hz VRR) display or a PCIe 5.0 SSD at a UK price of 110 and Eurozone prices of 120 and 130, respectively. Furthermore, Lenovo markets their Slim Pen 2 at a premium of £30/ €30 and NFC at a premium of 10/ 20. Interestingly, the only variants which can have 16 GB of RAM as an option include Core Ultra 7 355 at a saving of £290/330.
Although the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition is displayed with a minimum price of £2,489.99/€2,799, the device can be ordered without an operating system and will save one fifty/sixty pounds/euros. Lenovo will start delivery on March 24 in the UK and in the whole Eurozone. Later deliveries can commence in other markets such as Australia, however.
