Lenovo has introduced two new lightweight tablets, the Xiaoxin Pro 13 and Xiaoxin Pro GT13, both featuring 13-inch displays with a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate. Despite their flagship-level hardware, these tablets remain impressively thin and portable. They also pack large batteries with fast wired charging capabilities.
These new models are part of Lenovo’s refreshed Xiaoxin tablet lineup, arriving less than a year after the Xiaoxin Tablet 12.1 and Xiaoxin Tablet Pro GT, which they effectively replace. While the new tablets share the same display hardware, they differ in a few key areas.
Display and Build
Both tablets feature a 13-inch LCD with a resolution of 3,504 x 2,190 pixels, offering up to 800 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming, and a 144 Hz refresh rate. This results in identical dimensions of 296 x 191 mm. However, the Xiaoxin Pro GT13 is slightly thicker and heavier due to its larger battery.
- Xiaoxin Pro 13: 6.2 mm thick, 581 g
- Xiaoxin Pro GT13: 6.32 mm thick, 610 g
For comparison, the Xiaoxin Pro 13 weighs about the same as an iPad Pro 13 (currently priced at $1,199 on Amazon). However, Apple’s tablet is over 15% thinner than Lenovo’s models.
Battery and Charging
- Xiaoxin Pro 13: 10,200 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging
- Xiaoxin Pro GT13: 12,000 mAh battery with 68 W wired charging
Performance and Accessories
The Xiaoxin Pro GT13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Xiaoxin Pro 13 uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both tablets support optional accessories like a keyboard and stylus for added versatility.
Interestingly, the Xiaoxin Pro 13 appears to be the Chinese version of the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, which is sold globally. However, there is no global equivalent for the Xiaoxin Pro GT13 yet.
