Do you prefer a full-screen view? If the Taskbar is taking up too much space on your screen, you can hide it in Windows 11. Hovering the cursor over the bottom border will reveal the Taskbar, which may be hidden from the bottom to free up more space. The Taskbar will automatically disappear when not in use.
The procedures to automatically conceal the taskbar in Windows 11 are listed below.
Step 1: Open the Windows Settings on your PC using the keyboard shortcut Windows + I or use the Start button to enter Settings.
- Step 2: Click on Personalization on the left side, and on the right side, click Taskbar. Alternatively, you can right-click on Taskbar and click the Taskbar settings option to jump directly into the Taskbar settings.
- Step 3: Under Taskbar settings check the box that says Automatically hide the taskbar option.
When not in use, the Taskbar will now be automatically hidden. To bring back the Taskbar, briefly hover over the arrow at the bottom border. Please be aware that for a little period of time, the Taskbar will display on top of all other windows. Additional Windows Taskbar settings can be changed here as well. You now understand how to conceal the taskbar in Windows 11.
