The Hisense E8S RGB MiniLED TV has arrived in China. This slim 4K model has a native 180Hz refresh rate and will be available in three sizes up to 100 inches. It appears to be the Chinese version of a new model which was recently announced for the global market.
Another RGB MiniLED TV has been launched by Hisense in China: the E8S Series. This new model was unveiled a few months following the company unveiling the E8S Pro in this market which is another RGB MiniLED TV.
The Hisense E8S is a 4K TV with an 180Hz native refresh rate, and comes in three larger sizes, 75 inches, 85 inches and 100 inches. The company claims that these TVs span the full gamut of BT.2020 colors, and the 100 inch model is reported to have 9,360 local dimming zones. Both sizes are equipped with the Obsidian Screen Pro by the brand which seemingly absorbs only 1.8 percent of light and so can be used in an area that is bright enough.
In the case of gaming, the Hisense E8S will come with four HDMI 2.1 ports with a bandwidth of 48 Gbps and is 180Hz AMD FreeSync Premium Pro qualified. The other connectivity features are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 and the model is fitted with an inbuilt 4.2.2 channel sound system optimized by Devialet. This television is advertised as one with a very slim profile, where the user can sit the television almost against the wall, or sit it on a media unit using the stand.
The Hisense E8S RGB MiniLED TV in China has a reputation of beginning at CNY 12,999 (~$1,865) in the 75-inch model. It seems that in other nations, the model will be called the UR8, which will be presented in CES 2026 with the UR9, which may be the global version of the E8S Pro. They will be added to the existing lineup of RGB MiniLED TVs by Hisense, which includes the 100UX (currently priced at $9,999.99 at the Amazon Marketplace).
