An X (formerly Twitter) user got their hands on an unreleased Pixel Tablet Pen with the full packaging.
At one point, Google was going to launch a stylus on its Android tablet known as the Pixel Tablet Pen. When the Pixel Tablet 2 was canceled however, all those plans went up in smoke. The Pen never made it to the daylight, but the prototype of the device was found on sale recently. Now it is again appearing, and this time it has gone along with its complete packaging.

The Pixel Tablet Pen has been spotted in new images on social media (h/t 9to5Google).
This stylus had all the accoutrements unlike the one we witnessed a few days ago where Google did not bring the accoutrements with it. The user of X (the former Twitter) who purchased the product flaunted the box, a guide, even a magnetic sleeve to put the Pen in.

The manual, as you would expect, has tips on the use of the stylus. It entails the guidelines of pairing the Pen via Bluetooth. Going by the step by step guide, you would be required to press and hold on the button on the end of the Pen to a period of five seconds or a light. You would then need to follow onscreen instructions at the same time holding the stylus near the tablet. It also states that the device would have to be operating on Android 14 and above.

As stated above the pen also has a magnetic sleeve. As shown in the picture below, the sleeve is supposed to lie on the back of the tablet. That way, you will have a spot to store the Pen when it is not in use. Although technically the stylus can attach to the back of the tablet by itself, 9to5Google asserts that the Pen comes with weak magnets, and it cannot remain latched on. Because of this, the sleeve addresses this issue.

In our exclusive report from last December, we revealed that the Pixel Tablet Pen supported USI 2.0 and was supposed to be available in Porcelain and Hazel. It was also expected to have a few features, like quick app launch functionality. However, those features, unsurprisingly, don’t work on this at the moment.
