Gigabyte has introduced the GO27Q24, a 1440p QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and 400-nit peak brightness. While pricing hasn’t been announced, its specs point toward a potentially lower-cost entry.

Gigabyte is also adding an OLED gaming monitor back to its range this time with a slick 240 Hz version. It is dubbed the GO27Q24 and has a 27-inch QD-OLED display with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and 400 nits HDR peak brightness. The panel appears to be the identical Gen 3 QD-OLED found in the Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L which just arrived in the UK at a price of £399 suggesting that Gigabyte may be targeting a similarly affordable price point.

As stated, the Gigabyte GO27Q24 features a 27-inch panel native resolution of 2,560 x 1440. It has a 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a contrast ratio of 1.5M:1 meaning that games and movies will look amazing with bright colors and rich blacks. Only the issue is that it does not become as bright as some new OLEDs, such as the MSI MAG 271QP QD-OLED X24 (curr: $419.99 at Amazon), which can achieve 1,000 nits of HDR. With that being said, it can still provide an actual HDR, but it may not be the best choice in very bright rooms.
It has other characteristics such as a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms, which is very fast and makes it perfect with the competitive gamers. It also carries a few exclusive features such as Tactical Switch 2.0 that allows you to switch between various display sizes and aspect ratios, a black boost feature and a night vision mode. In addition, the monitor has an adjustable stand that is fully adjustable, a three-year warranty on the OLED, and a good range of ports, including a DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB-C port with DP Alt Mode and 15W charging.
Gigabyte has not revealed any information on the release date or pricing, unfortunately.
