With a 6.13-inch e-ink touchscreen, an innovative smart dial and Android, Durobo Krono is designed to be more than just an e-reader, and also functions as a music player and AI assistant. The device can be purchased at the moment at the price of $279.
Durobo Krono was already declared last July, but has been delayed by several months. But the smaller E-Note is currently on sale and can be ordered at Amazon at a price of $279.99, in black or white.
Durobo Krono does not have a modem, cameras or a speaker above the display, meaning that the device cannot replace a smartphone. However, the E-Note must be relatively flexible, because Android 15 with the Google Play Store not only offers a great variety of e-book apps, it is also feasible to install music streaming apps.

The user interface is minimalistic and has an emphasis on e-books, music and notes, but provides an access to an AI assistant. Durobo Krono is based on a 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1200 display with a pixel density of 300 PPI. The display has a front light, the brightness of which can be adjusted using the Smart Dial on the left-hand side. To start recording a voice memo or the AI assistant, one can press the Smart Dial.

Durobo Krono will utilize an unnamed eight-core processor and it will be backed up by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. This battery has a capacity of 3,950 mAh. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, stereo speakers, microphones and a USB-C port round off the features of the 9.0 millimetre thick, 173 gram e-note.
