Boox has refreshed its Note line of E Ink tablets with a new model. The Boox Note Air5 C looks like its predecessor, the Note Air4 C, but now has support for a keyboard cover for more productive work.

Besides the Palma 2 Pro, Boox unveiled the Note Air5 C, which comes as the new model in its Note range, and the successor to the Note Air4 C that came out a year ago.
The Boox Note Air5 C has only a minor improvement over the Note Air4 C that was launched in the previous year. Quite on the contrary, very little has changed. Boox has not even made the effort of updating the design or even releasing the new model in another color to distinguish it with the last generation.

Nonetheless, there is a significant feature added the Note Air5 C has pogo pins on its rear side, which can be attached to a keyboard accessory. The Boox Note Air5 C can be converted into a notebook by purchasing this magnetic keyboard cover that cost $109.99 and now enables the users to type in emails, articles and other tasks. This is also a keyboard case that simply has a USB-C port that enables passthrough charging on the Note Air5 C.

The stylus that is supported is the Boox Pen3 and its pressure sensitivity is 4096 levels, tilt sensitivity and ultra-low latency. It also possesses a storage compartment of additional nibs.
