The BMX SolidSafe Air Qi2 magnetic power bank uses semi‑solid‑state cells and a titanium‑reinforced body to improve safety and durability. It delivers up to 20 watts of wired and 15 watts of wireless power to charge phones and other electronics.
BMX has introduced the 5,000mAh SolidSafe Air Qi2, wireless magnetic power bank. It currently retails at an MSRP of $59.99 and can be bought at BMX.

The SolidSafe Air is meant to cut down the possibility of spontaneous lithium battery fires with semi-solid-state cells being utilized, which, according to the company, are more resistant to puncture and abuse than normal lithium-ion cells. Titanium helps in reinforcing the body. The power bank is slim, being 103 by 70 by 6.8 mm (4.1 by 2.8 by 0.27 in.) in size, and 116 gram (4.1 oz) in weight.
Power bank will include the USB-C port that can output up to 20 watts and Qi2-compatible wireless charging pad that can output up to 15 watts. In mixed mode, the device is capable of delivering a peak of 10 watts in the USB-C and 12-wireless. The magnetic mount to the rear of iPhones when charging is Apple MagSafe-compatible. BMX suggests that the SolidSafe Air is charged within two hours with a maximum of 15 watts.
