BenQ has announced two new glossy monitors targeted at Mac users, including one potential Apple Studio Display alternative. With 5K and 4K options, they offer Mac-tuned colors, Thunderbolt 4, and deeper macOS integration.
BenQ has also introduced two new monitors under the MA series; the MA270S and MA320UG. In the beginning of this year the firm introduced a 4K programming monitor with aspect ratio of 3:2. The new models are based on the 2026 MA line with a 5K display and a 120 Hz high-refresh-rate version.
Both monitors will target Mac users. Their IPS panels are treated with the Nano Gloss of BenQ that delivers the vividness of colors and crystal-clear view of the MacBook and Apple Studio screens. The panels drive the P3 color space which Macs operate with – up to 99 percent on the MA270S and 98 percent on the MA320UG. The monitors also have inbuilt color-tuning to match your MacBook and external display color.
The model with a higher resolution is the MA270S. It provides a 5K panel (5120 2880) on a 27 in.-screen, approximately 218 dpi. Text is crisp and the MacOS UI elements can scale, as on the Apple Studio Display.

Unlike the MA320UG, the MA320UG is a 32-inch 4K display with 120Hz frequency. The higher refresh rate also allows scrolling, animation, and web browsing to be smoother and as quick as the latest MacBook Pros. macOS support like adjusting the brightness and volume can be done on the keyboard of the MacBook, just like on an Apple monitor.
Both models have generic connectivity: two HDMI ports, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, capable of providing up to 96W of charging to most MacBooks. Their stands are height adjustable, tilt, pivot and swivel.
The monitors are now available on BenQ EU site but price and availability is yet to be announced.
